Chelsea Mace
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Chelsea spent the last fourteen years working across the country as a Professional Ballet Dancer, Choreographer, Group Fitness Instructor, University Program Coordinator, and Fitness Manager. Chelsea received her early dance training at Ballet Met Professional Dance Academy and spent time touring Europe with the Blue Lake International Ballet Ensemble. After graduating high school from The North Carolina School of the Arts, she studied on scholarship with The Joffrey Ballet in New York City.
Chelsea went on to dance with The Richmond Ballet in Virginia where she performed various works in the corps de ballet. Her career brought her back to Ohio, where she danced with Columbus Dance Theatre, performed with Opera Columbus, and choreographed musicals for Upper Arlington High School. Prior to moving to Cleveland, Chelsea lived in Savannah, Georgia where she worked as the Fitness and Intramural Assistant Coordinator at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and served as a Faculty Member and Resident Artist with Savannah Ballet Theatre.
Chelsea worked as a Fitness Instructor at John Carroll University and Cleveland State University, and danced professionally across Northeast Ohio with Cleveland’s Verb Ballets. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Cleveland State University, and most recently worked as the Group Fitness Department Head at Life Time Fitness in Beachwood.
